Nateskin Face Shaver & Nose Trimmer Review

My boyfriend is the kind of person who is too lazy to shave every single day 😂. With a regular shaver and shaving cream, there are just too many steps for him to bother with—especially when his beard literally starts growing back the very next day.

I’ve always preferred my man to have a clean, fresh-looking face. Not just because I like the look, but because stubble can actually be quite uncomfortable and pokey when our faces get close… yes, especially during kissing time. 😂 So I thought it was time to get him an electric shaver that was good quality, convenient, and safe enough for everyday use.

I also got him the Nateskin nose trimmer because he sometimes struggles with longer or excess nose hair. It can be surprisingly difficult to keep that area neat with a regular trimmer.

Honestly, this has become one of the best purchases I’ve made for him this year.

Before Nateskin, he already had an expensive, good-quality shaver that you could easily find at Watsons. That’s why he was actually a little upset when he found out I bought him another one. To him, it seemed completely “unnecessary” because he already had a perfectly good shaver.

But what he didn’t understand was… I need him to shave EVERY DAY. 😂

I just wanted to be able to touch his face and kiss him without getting scratched by tiny, sharp stubble!

But his reaction completely changed after he started using Nateskin.

He was SO, SO, SO happy with it. He saves so much time during his daily grooming routine, yet still gets the same clean-shaven result he used to get from using a manual shaver with shaving cream. The biggest difference is simply how convenient it is—he can just pick it up, shave, clean up, and go.

And I know he genuinely likes it because he uses it almost every day now. He even keeps it somewhere within easy reach so he can quickly clean himself up whenever he feels like he needs a shave.

And the nose trimmer? A total game changer.

He used to have a cheaper nose trimmer that was usable, but after trying the Nateskin one, he was genuinely impressed.

He never knew a nose trimmer could be so gentle while still giving such good trimming results. He can easily clean up those annoying nose hairs without struggling, and honestly, keeping them neat makes such a difference. When visible nose hair starts showing from the outside, it can create some pretty awkward moments when talking to people. 😭

The funny thing is, Nateskin wasn’t even something I spent ages researching. I simply came across it while scrolling and thought, why not get him something that might actually make his daily grooming easier?

And somehow, it turned out to be one of the best purchases I’ve made for him.

From someone who initially thought, “Why do I need another shaver?” to someone who now uses it almost every day—I’d say that pretty much speaks for itself.

He gets an easier grooming routine, I get a smooth face to kiss, and everyone wins. 😂🩵

I prefer shaving dry. I had some initial sensitivity (redness) to it, but maybe it was due to my face touching the rougher non-foil part of the shaver.

By the 2nd day, I no longer have any sensitivity. I continued to only use the foil section of it, I think it shaves quite close for the moustache part, but it doesn't quite clear the chin and below.

It is also a lot quieter than my previous shavers. Overall, I would recommend it.

My husband loves it, it was a birthday gift from our kids. The way it shaves his face so clean makes me a happy wife 😉 no more "cactus" feeling on my face when he gives me a kiss. 😁 🎉
